Yisa, David has been a Development practioner for many years. He started his career on graduation from A.B.U., Zaria as a farm manager. He later worked with N.D.E to contribute to the poverty alleviation programmes of federal government of Nigeria until he joined the Christian Rural and Urban Development of Nigeria (CRUDAN) where he worked in eight states as a Facilitator of programmes cutting across HIV/AIDS; Project cycle Management; Gender and development; Peace Building and Conflict Resolution; Democracy and Good Governance; Budget processes; Public Procurement; Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting. He has consulted for different organisations such as JDPC, YMCA, UNICEF, TLMN, SightSavers International and many NGOs. He has facilitated in many communities using participatory methodologies (PRA/PLA). He is presently a consultant and has worked as Programme Manager in the Rayuwa Sexual Assault Referral Centre (RSARC) of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development of Niger State government. He has also remained active in the civil society space as State Coordinator of Child Protection Network and Member, Open Government Partnership, OGP, Niger State. He has also served as board member, NSPHCDA and on government panels in Niger State.
